Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin treatment is considered safe and effective for reducing facial wrinkles. Injection of botulinum toxin is very effective when used in the upper region of the face. Botulinum toxin causes relaxation of those muscles, resulting in the smoothing of the overlying skin. Smoothing of wrinkles is usually visible three days after treatment and is usually visible two weeks following injection. The treated muscles gradually regain function, and retreatment is recommended every three to four months to ensure continuous smooth facial appearance.
Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid is a substance found in most common dermal fillers, that delivers nutrients to the skin aiding to the retention of softness and moisture while adding volume. Dermal fillers can be helpful when fighting the signs of aging by enhancing shallow contours, plump thin lips, soften facial creases and wrinkles, improve the appearance of recess scars, reconstruct the deformities of facial contour and decrease shadowing of the lower lids. The effects of dermal fillers can vary by type, duration and retreatment.
PRP
Blood is mainly a liquid (called plasma), it also contains small solid components (red cells, white cells, and platelets.) The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important in the healing of injuries. PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets and thereby the concentration of growth factors. PRP treatments varies on type of condition and area of the body (knee, elbow, back, skin, hair, etc). Treatments may require multiple sessions and can be used in conjunction with Microneedling.
PDO Thread Lift
PDO Thread lift is a cosmetic technique that lifts and tighten sagging facial skin tissues. It involves the implantation of fine, absorbable polydioxanone threads into the subcutaneous layer of the skin using small needles. These threads remain implanted in the skin causing micro-injuries that stimulate collagen fusion and tissue tightening. PDO therapy can be used on the cheeks, brow, jawline, neck, smile lines, marionette lines (downward running mouth lines). Thread Lift may be combined with laser, injections and other surgical procedures.
Microneedling
Microneedling which also known as collagen induction therapy or skin needling. It involves repeatedly puncturing of the skin with tiny, sterile needles. Microneedling helps reduce the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne scars and rejuvenate aging skin. This treatment stimulates collagen promoting healthier skin and can be used in conjunction with PRP.
